Hands-free device reliability for the whole hospital
Fewer device surprises in every procedure room.
From the operating room and cath lab to endoscopy, the ICU and the emergency department, Quellvane listens for device problems during prep and cases, warns teams before a failing lot reaches the next patient, and gives quality and biomed the evidence to fix it.

Example data from the built-in demo project. Names and numbers are fictional.
The problem
A device fails mid-case. It is swapped, thrown away, and forgotten.
Each team sees one small failure. Nobody sees the pattern across rooms, units and weeks, until a whole lot has reached patients.

Where it works
One tool for every place devices are opened
The cath lab is one of many. Quellvane follows single-use and reusable devices wherever procedures happen, and every area feeds the same lot surveillance and FRACAS.

How it works
From the morning huddle to a verified fix
Four steps, all in one project. In the room, everything happens by voice.
Brief the team before the first case
The team briefing lists lots not to open, lots to use with care, room readiness and fixes in progress. Quellvane reads the warnings aloud in the room.
“Quellvane, today's briefing.”

Prep the room by voice
The checklist fills as the team talks and lays out devices. Every lot is checked against the hold list before a package is opened.
- “Suction working.” “Count done.” “Pressures zeroed.” Items tick green.
- A held lot turns red and Quellvane says so out loud.
- “Room ready, 12 of 12” is recorded with the time.

Capture problems hands-free, and catch the lot
“The stapler misfired, open another one.” Quellvane drafts a report on the device in use, notices the swap, and the team confirms by voice at sign-out. Every report joins its lot.
- Confidence that a lot has a real problem, not bad luck
- Patients and days between problems, against normal
- A person always decides on a hold

Close the loop with FRACAS and 8D
Each problem moves from report to containment, root cause, corrective action and verification. D1 to D8 are drafted from the evidence in every study, and an incident closes only when enough clean devices prove the fix worked.

For everyone in the hospital
Built for the people who live with device problems
Start where you work. Every team shares the same evidence.
Surgeons, physicians, nurses and technologists
Stay focused on the patient. Say what happened; Quellvane does the paperwork.
- Voice prep checklist and held-lot warnings
- Morning briefing, read aloud
- Case impact: delays, swaps, minutes lost
- Record what the team needs from each device
Quality, risk and supply
See which lots fail more than normal, with the confidence to act, and close each problem properly.
- Early-warning alerts for every lot
- Hold and release with a reason on record
- Closed-loop FRACAS with 8D reports
- Problem summaries for manufacturers
Biomedical and reliability engineers
Plan replacements, check design risk against what the rooms report, and prove corrective actions worked.
- Weibull life data and B10 replacement intervals
- FMEA ratings checked against field data
- Crow–AMSAA growth and demonstrated MTBF
Modules
Seven analyses, one project
Each module is its own study with inputs, results, plots, a report and the methods behind it. Findings from every module flow into FRACAS.

Film
See one procedure, step by step
A three-minute concept film set in a cath lab: prep by voice, a kinked catheter caught hands-free, and two lots held before more patients. The same workflow runs in the operating room, endoscopy and the ICU.
Security and privacy
Approved people only. No patient data. Your data stays with you.
Access by approval
We review every request and approve named work email addresses. Access can be removed at any time.
One-time code sign-in
Every sign-in uses a code sent to your work email, enforced by Cloudflare before the app loads. No passwords to leak.
Agreement on first open
Each user accepts the licence agreement before using Quellvane, and again whenever it changes.
No patient information
Quellvane records devices, lots, times, rooms and procedure types. Never names, record numbers or dates of birth.
Your data stays with you
Projects stay on your device and in files you save. DuurveX-Tech does not receive your hospital's data.
No audio stored
Only device events are kept. Voice in procedure rooms is used after your privacy and IT teams approve it.

Questions
Frequently asked
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Approved hospitals and teams get 30 days of full access to all seven modules, free, with no payment details. Before it ends we contact you about a licence; if you do not continue, access simply ends and your project files stay with you.
Which hospital areas does it cover?
Any area where devices are opened: operating rooms, cath and EP labs, interventional radiology, endoscopy, the ICU, the emergency department and more. Voice checklists are built in for common procedures, and you can add your own rooms, procedures and device types.
Does Quellvane store patient information?
No. It records devices, lots, times, rooms and procedure types only. The agreement every user accepts forbids entering patient information, typed or spoken.
Is it a medical device?
No. Quellvane does not diagnose, treat or support clinical decisions for any patient. It gives teams device reliability evidence; qualified people make every decision.
Does anyone have to touch a screen in the room?
No. The checklist fills by voice, devices are identified as they are laid out, and reports are confirmed by voice at sign-out. Desk screens are for the quality office and biomed.
Where does our data go?
It stays on your devices and in project files you save. DuurveX-Tech does not receive it. Only sign-in details are processed by our access provider, Cloudflare.
How does voice work, and is audio kept?
Voice uses your browser's speech recognition, which may process audio through the browser maker's service. Quellvane keeps only device events and stores no audio. Use voice in procedure rooms after your privacy and IT teams approve it.
What do we need to run it?
A current Chrome or Edge on Windows, macOS or a tablet, a work email, and for voice a microphone. It installs from the browser in one click and works offline.
Who can get access?
Surgeons, physicians, nurses, technologists, quality, biomedical engineering, supply and IT teams at healthcare organisations, and engineers who support them. Each request is reviewed, and access is granted per work email.
Are the calculations validated?
The methods are standard reliability engineering models, checked against independent calculations. Results are estimates for your engineers and clinical leaders to review; every module's Methods tab explains them.
